Job Summary

We are looking for a sales-driven Medical Device Sales Specialist with experience in medical equipment sales, preferably in infusion pumps, syringe pumps or critical-care equipment.

The candidate will be responsible for developing hospital accounts, generating new business, conducting product demonstrations, achieving sales targets and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals and hospital procurement teams.

This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on medical-device sales experience who understand hospital buying processes and can independently manage customer relationships and sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare institutions.
- Promote and sell infusion pumps, syringe pumps and related medical equipment.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospital procurement teams, biomedical departments, ICU/OT teams and relevant healthcare professionals.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to explain equipment features, applications and benefits.
- Generate leads, prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries and convert opportunities into orders.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to regional business growth.
- Coordinate with technical and service teams for product installations, user training and after-sales support.
- Monitor competitor activities, market demand and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales pipelines, quotations and order status.
- Travel within the assigned territory to meet customers and develop business.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- 3–5 years of experience in medical equipment sales, medical-device sales or hospital equipment sales.




- Direct experience selling infusion pumps or syringe pumps is strongly preferred.
- Experience handling hospital accounts, generating leads and achieving individual sales targets.
- Good understanding of hospital procurement processes and medical equipment purchasing.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations and explain technical features to customers.
- Willingness to undertake regular field visits and regional travel.
- Graduate in any relevant discipline; Biomedical Engineering or a related technical qualification is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Background

Candidates from medical-device manufacturers, medical equipment distributors, critical-care equipment companies and infusion therapy product companies are encouraged to apply.

Experience with ICU equipment, patient monitoring systems, ventilators or other hospital medical devices may also be considered if supported by strong sales experience.

Important Eligibility Criteria

- Candidates must have demonstrable commercial sales experience in medical devices or medical equipment.
- Experience in sales targets, lead generation, customer acquisition and order closures is essential.
- Candidates whose experience is limited to nursing, clinical use of infusion pumps, biomedical maintenance, equipment repair or technical servicing without sales responsibility will not be suitable for this position.
