Job Purpose

The Operations Activity In-Charge is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse, transport, and inventory operations. This role ensures 100% inventory accuracy, seamless system usage (WMS & TMS), strict adherence to compliance, team discipline, and operational excellence while driving continuous quality improvements and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Order & Dispatch Operations: Monitor all outgoing and incoming orders, dispatches, and transportation timelines.
- Systems & Technology: Ensure 100% adoption and timely execution of WMS (Warehouse Management System) and TMS (Transport Management System) applications across all operational workflows.
- Inventory & TAT Compliance: Maintain 100% stock accuracy. Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) acknowledgments are received, verified, and reconciled within stipulated Turnaround Time (TAT).
- Quality & Audits (QMS): Conduct routine activity audits, identify operational risks, and share detailed reports with leadership. Lead the implementation of revised or new QMS processes.
- Corrective Actions (CAPA): Log all Non-Conformities (NC) and service complaints in designated logs, developing appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Maintain record keeping as per SOP guidelines.
- Compliance & EHS: Ensure compliance with EHS (Workplace, Health & Safety) objectives, company policies, and statutory matters.
- Team Leadership & Discipline: Enforce team discipline, adhere strictly to company policies,



and conduct regular training for team members.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the principal company, external customers, and internal teams on operational and administrative matters. Document all meetings via Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
- Vendor & Financial Management: Conduct monthly vendor performance evaluations. Handle depot petty cash and ensure timely reconciliation with the accounts team.

- Stock Accuracy Rate (Target: 100%)
- On-Time POD Collection and TAT Adherence
- WMS & TMS Compliance Rate
- Resolution Time for NCs and Service Complaints (CAPA Execution)
- Zero Non-Compliance on EHS and Statutory Norms

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 3–6 years in warehouse operations, depot management, or logistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in WMS and TMS software, MS Excel, and inventory management systems.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO norms, EHS guidelines, and basic financial/petty cash management.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional team leadership, vendor management, stakeholder communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
