About the Role

Skystone Construction is looking for a highly experienced and responsible Civil Engineer to take complete charge of our construction site at Pushpak Nagar, Ulwe, Navi Mumbai.

The ideal candidate should have 6–8+ years of strong hands-on experience in building construction and should be capable of independently managing day-to-day site operations, manpower, subcontractors, materials, quality, measurements, and project execution.

This is a site leadership role for someone who can take ownership of the project and ensure that work is executed safely, correctly, and according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities1. Complete Site Management

- Take overall responsibility for day-to-day site execution and site management.
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate all construction activities.
- Ensure work progresses according to the project schedule and required milestones.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Client/Developer, Consultants, Architects, Contractors, and Subcontractors.

2. Construction Execution

- Supervise RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and other building construction activities.
- Read and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify site issues and coordinate timely solutions.

3. Manpower & Subcontractor Management

- Manage and supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and labour teams.
- Plan daily manpower requirements according to work progress.
- Monitor productivity and workmanship.
- Coordinate with labour contractors and ensure adequate manpower at site.

4. Quality Control





- Maintain high standards of construction quality.
- Check reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, masonry, plaster, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Ensure proper material usage and prevent wastage.
- Coordinate inspections and rectify construction defects promptly.

5. Quantity, Measurement & Documentation

- Check and verify measurements of completed works.
- Prepare/verify quantity measurements for subcontractors and RA bills.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, material records, and work reports.
- Track actual work completed against planned quantities.

6. Material & Resource Management

- Prepare material requirements based on project progress.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are available when required.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Check incoming materials for quantity and basic quality requirements.

7. Safety & Site Discipline

- Ensure proper safety practices are followed at the site.
- Maintain site discipline and housekeeping.
- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures.
- Immediately report and address unsafe working conditions.

8. Coordination & Reporting

- Conduct regular site meetings with supervisors and subcontractors.
- Provide daily/weekly progress updates to management.
- Highlight delays, technical issues, material requirements, manpower shortages, and other site concerns.
- Maintain clear communication between management and site teams.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.




- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in building construction.
- Strong practical experience in RCC and residential/commercial building construction.
- Must be capable of independently handling a complete construction site.
- Solid knowledge of construction drawings, site execution, measurements, and quantity calculations.
- Experience managing labour contractors and subcontractors.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Must be responsible, disciplined, proactive, and highly committed.
- Should be comfortable taking ownership and making day-to-day site decisions.
- Candidates with experience handling multi-storey residential buildings will be preferred.

We Are Looking For

We are specifically looking for a hands-on and experienced site professional, not someone who only performs office-based engineering work.

The selected candidate should be able to take complete ownership of the site, manage the workforce and subcontractors, coordinate construction activities, identify problems before they become major issues, and ensure that the project moves forward efficiently.

Experience in independently handling building construction sites is highly preferred.

Salary

Salary: ₹_____ to ₹_____ per month, depending on experience, technical capability, and overall suitability.

Candidates with strong site experience and proven project-handling capabilities may be offered a higher package.
