Lakhotia College of Design is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Fashion Design Faculty specializing in Pattern Making and Garment Construction to teach and mentor students through practical, industry-oriented learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Pattern Making, Garment Construction and Apparel Construction.
- Conduct practical sessions in cutting, stitching, finishing and garment assembly.
- Teach and demonstrate draping techniques and pattern development.
- Guide students in developing patterns from concept to finished garment.
- Teach CLO 3D and digital garment development.
- Conduct design projects, practical assignments and assessments.
- Mentor students on garment construction techniques,
fit and finishing.
- Maintain an enthusiastic, hands-on and engaging classroom environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Fashion Design or related field.
- 2+ years of teaching or industry experience preferred.
- Strong practical expertise in stitching, cutting, pattern making and draping.
- Good knowledge of CLO 3D.
- Strong understanding of garment construction and apparel production.
- Passionate and enthusiastic about Garment Construction (GC) and practical teaching.
- Positive communication and student mentoring skills.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
