Location: Karumandurai, Kalrayan Hills, Salem District

TRUST, a non-profit organisation based in Salem, is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Computer Instructor for the TRUST Computer Coaching Centre based in Karumandurai in the Kalrayan Hills. The location is about 1.5 to 2 hours away by bus from Salem.

TRUST aims to train tribal youth in basic computer skills and Microsoft 365 applications to enhance employability and confidence by familiarising them with essential digital tools.

IMPORTANT: The candidate must be able to stay in Karumandurai. Accommodation can be provided for individuals.

Job Responsibilities:

- Teach basic computer fundamentals (computer operations, file management, internet/email usage and safety, English & Tamil typing) to tribal youth
- Train students in Microsoft 365 applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook & basic cloud concepts (OneDrive)




- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, power points and practical exercises for each batch of students (up to 10 at a time)
- Guide students with hands-on practice and doubt clearing
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain student work records
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning workplace
- Assist the Project Officer, as and when required

Eligibility & Requirements:

- Basic qualification in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
- Good practical knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Prior teaching or training experience preferred (freshers with strong skills may apply)
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Patience and ability to teach beginners
