Kalky Infra is hiring a Junior Site Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on construction site experience to run day-to-day execution on our Bhubaneswar projects.

Qualification Diploma or B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering

Employment Full time, on-site (site stay required)

Salary 25000-38000

What you will handle on site

- Supervise piling work: pile marking and layout, boring, reinforcement cage lowering, concreting, and pile cap and grade beam work
- Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for piles, footings, columns, beams and slabs, and check steel on site against them before every pour
- Read structural and architectural drawings, and prepare or update drawings and shop details in AutoCAD
- Set out the work using total station or auto level, and check levels, alignment and shuttering
- Plan daily and weekly work with the Project Manager and track progress against the schedule
- Supervise contractors and labour gangs, and allot work in Odia and Hindi
- Check material quality at receipt: steel, cement, aggregate, sand and RMC, including slump and cube tests
- Measure work done and verify contractor bills
- Keep site records: daily progress report, pour cards, checklists, material register and labour register
- Enforce site safety: PPE, scaffolding, barricading around excavations and pile bores
- Coordinate with the structural consultant,



architect and MEP teams on drawing queries and site changes

What you must bring

- Site experience: Minimum 4–5 years working on construction sites, preferably residential or commercial buildings.
- Piling foundations: Practical experience supervising bored cast-in-situ or similar pile foundations, from marking to pile cap.
- BBS: Able to prepare a complete Bar Bending Schedule from structural drawings without help.
- AutoCAD: Working knowledge to read, edit and prepare 2D drawings.
- Job consistency: A stable work record. Candidates with frequent job changes will not be considered.
- Languages: Must speak Odia and Hindi fluently. Basic English for reading drawings and reports.
- Site stay: Must be willing to stay at the project site.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.

- Experience on multi-storey RCC buildings (G+5 and above), including basement work
- Knowledge of IS codes for concrete and reinforcement (IS 456, IS 2502, IS 2911 for piling)
- Basic quantity estimation and billing in Excel
- Hands-on use of total station or auto level
- Earlier work with developers in Bhubaneswar or elsewhere in Odisha
