Café Crew Member – Job Description Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers warmly and provide professional service.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in food preparation, plating, and presentation as required.
- Prepare and serve basic beverages, mocktails, shakes, cold beverages, tea, and coffee.
- Have a basic understanding of mocktail preparation, beverage combinations, garnishing, and presentation.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, counters, tables, kitchen, and beverage preparation area.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Handle basic billing/cash counter responsibilities, if required.
- Maintain proper stock levels and inform the supervisor about shortages.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen and service team members.
- Handle customer queries and requests politely and professionally.
- Support the team during busy hours and maintain a positive, energetic attitude.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Basic knowledge of food preparation and plating.
- Basic knowledge of mocktails and beverage preparation.
- Familiarity with preparing shakes, cold beverages, tea, coffee, and other café beverages.
- Understanding of basic garnishing and beverage presentation.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.




- Good personal hygiene and a neat, presentable appearance.
- Willingness to learn recent recipes, menu items, and café procedures.
- Team player with a responsible, punctual, and positive attitude.
- Previous café, restaurant, hospitality, or beverage-service experience is preferred.
- Candidates with practical knowledge of multiple café operations will be given preference.

Pre-Opening Responsibilities

As the café is scheduled to open shortly, the selected candidate will assist with:

- Café setup and organization.
- Kitchen, counter, and beverage station preparation.
- Menu familiarization and understanding of recipes.
- Practicing food, beverage, and mocktail preparation.
- Learning portion sizes, presentation standards, and serving procedures.
- Stock arrangement and inventory preparation.
- Trial runs and pre-opening service preparation.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards before the official opening.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, quick to learn, energetic, and genuinely interested in café operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assisting across food preparation, beverages, mocktails, customer service, and general café operations rather than being limited to a single task.

Freshers with good basic knowledge and a strong willingness to learn may also apply.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
