Everest Auto Forge Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to take ownership of PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, CAPA, 8D and customer quality documentation for our forging, casting and CNC machining operations.

The candidate will coordinate with Production, Process Engineering, Tool Room, Purchase and Inspection teams to ensure customer requirements are properly documented, implemented and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and coordinate complete PPAP documentation as per customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain APQP documentation for current product development.
- Prepare and update Process Flow Diagrams.
- Develop and maintain PFMEA with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and maintain Control Plans for forging, casting, heat treatment and machining processes.
- Coordinate MSA / Gauge R&R; studies.
- Prepare Dimensional Inspection Reports and review customer drawings/GD&T.;
- Coordinate SPC, CPK and capability studies for critical characteristics.
- Handle CAPA, 8D and customer complaints from root-cause analysis through corrective-action closure.
- Conduct 5 Why, Fishbone and other root-cause analysis.
- Coordinate customer-specific quality requirements and documentation.
- Review inspection reports, material certificates, heat-treatment reports and process records.
- Support internal, customer and third-party quality audits.
- Maintain proper revision control of quality documents.
- Coordinate with Production and Process Engineering to ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Follow up with customers regarding PPAP approval, quality concerns and technical requirements.
- Maintain complete traceability of quality records.

Industry Experience – Preferred

Experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:

- Aluminium Forging
- Aluminium Casting / PDC / GDC
- CNC Machining
- Automotive Components
- Defence Components
- Hydraulic Components
- Industrial Engineering Components

Standards & Systems

Knowledge of the following will be an advantage:

- IATF 16949
- ISO 9001
- VDA 6.3
- AIAG Core Tools
- Customer-Specific Requirements
- IMDS, if applicable
- ERP / Quality Management Systems
- MS Excel & MS Office

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy or related Engineering field.

Candidate Profile

- Strong documentation and analytical skills
- Good communication with customers and internal teams
- Ability to independently manage PPAP and customer quality activities
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T;
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving ability
- Willingness to work closely with Production and Engineering teams

Key Performance Areas

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring:

Customer Requirement → APQP → Process Flow → PFMEA → Control Plan → MSA → PPAP → Customer Approval → Continuous Improvement

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
