Job Description – Service Engineer

Job Summary

Monotech Engineers is looking for skilled and dedicated Service Engineers with experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial machinery. Candidates with experience in CNC/NC press brakes, hydraulic presses, material handling equipment, or sheet straightening and leveling machines are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of industrial machines at customer sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure smooth machine operation.
- Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical support.
- Inspect machine components, identify faults, and carry out necessary repairs.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Travel to customer locations for in office service and maintenance.

Required Technical Experience

Candidates should have experience in any one or more of the following equipment categories:

1. Press Brakes

- CNC and NC press brakes
- PLC-based machine controls
- Hydraulic press brake systems

2. Hydraulic Presses

- Pillar-type hydraulic presses
- C-type presses
- H-type presses




- Hydraulic power packs, cylinders, and control systems

3. Material Handling Equipment

- EOT cranes (Electric Overhead Travelling Cranes)
- Wire rope hoists
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of lifting equipment

4. Sheet Straightening & Leveling Machines

- Sheet straightening machines
- Sheet leveling machines
- Troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems

Candidate Requirements

- Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines.
- Experience: Relevant experience in industrial machinery servicing and maintenance.
- Good knowledge of machine troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand machine operating systems.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of CNC/NC controls and PLC systems.
- Understanding of hydraulic and electrical circuits.
- Experience in industrial machine installation and commissioning.
- Ability to independently handle customer service calls.
