About the Role

Makeolix Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Junior SEO Executive with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on SEO experience. The candidate should have a basic understanding of SEO and be interested in learning and working on AI SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) along with traditional SEO.

The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on multiple client websites.

Key ResponsibilitiesSEO Activities

- Perform keyword research based on search intent and business requirements.
- Assist with On-Page SEO activities such as meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URL optimization, image optimization, and internal linking.
- Assist with Off-Page SEO, including backlink building, directory submissions, guest posting, and outreach.
- Conduct basic competitor and website analysis.
- Monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic.
- Identify basic SEO issues and coordinate with senior team members for implementation.
- Assist in preparing SEO reports and maintaining project trackers.

AI SEO / AEO / GEO

- Learn and implement basic AI SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies.
- Research conversational and question-based search queries.
- Assist in optimizing content for AI-powered search and answer engines.
- Understand how platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Gemini present search information.
- Assist in creating FAQ, Q&A;, and search-intent-focused content structures.
- Support senior SEO team members in monitoring AI search visibility and brand mentions.

Tools & Analytics

- Work with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Use tools such as Ahrefs,



SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar SEO platforms.
- Track keyword rankings, backlinks, organic traffic, and other SEO metrics.
- Assist in preparing weekly/monthly performance reports.

Must-Have Skills

- 6 months – 1 year of SEO experience.
- Basic understanding of On-Page and Off-Page SEO.
- Basic knowledge of keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Basic understanding of backlink building and SEO tools.
- Good understanding of search intent and SEO-friendly content.
- Interest in AI SEO, AEO, and GEO.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn new SEO strategies and AI search trends.
- Ability to work in a team and manage assigned tasks within deadlines.

Preferred

- Digital Marketing Agency experience will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Technical SEO and Schema Markup.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or other AI tools.
- SEO certification or relevant digital marketing course is a plus.
