About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Playwright to build and maintain robust test automation frameworks, ensure product quality, and drive continuous testing across modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, CI/CD integration, and quality engineering best practices. This role requires a quality-first mindset and a passion for delivering reliable, scalable, and high-performing software solutions. You will work closely with development, product, and business teams to implement automation-first testing strategies and improve release quality.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java and Playwright.
- Create,



execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end business workflows.
- Develop automation strategies that support continuous testing and quality validation across the SDLC.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define test coverage.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable software releases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, end-to-end, and cross-browser testing.
- Conduct API validation using automation frameworks and testing tools.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, automation reports, and quality metrics.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor test execution trends and continuously improve automation effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing best practices, and organizational quality processes.
- Drive automation-first testing initiatives to improve efficiency, coverage, and product quality.
- Support production validation, release verification, and post-deployment testing activities.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 6–11 years of experience in Software Testing, Test Automation, and Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java programming and Playwright Automation Framework development.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for enterprise web applications.
- Expertise in UI automation, browser automation, and end-to-end test automation.
- Strong experience with API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience performing functional,



regression, integration, smoke, usability, and system testing.
- Hands-on experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps tools.
- Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
- Knowledge of test reporting, dashboards, and quality monitoring tools.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum-based development environments.
- Good understanding of SQL and database validation techniques.
- Strong debugging, analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Solid communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to automation best practices.
