1. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in business intelligence, data visualization, dashboard development, and data modeling. The ideal candidate should have hands on experience in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Power Query, with the ability to transform complex data into meaningful business insights.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Create advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and business metrics.
- Extract, transform, clean, and analyze data using Power Query and SQL.
- Develop optimized data models, relationships, and schemas for efficient reporting.
- Connect Power BI with multiple data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Manage Power BI Service, workspace access, gateways, scheduled refreshes, and report deployment.
- Implement Row Level Security to ensure secure data access.
- Optimize dashboard performance and troubleshoot data related issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports.

3. Required Skills and Qualifications





- Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in Power BI development.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query M.
- Advanced SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, and query optimization.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, star schema, and snowflake schema.
- Experience with ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of dashboard optimization, scheduled refreshes, and Row Level Security.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.

4. Valuable to Have Skills

- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Azure SQL.
- Knowledge of SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.
- Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines and version control.
- Understanding of data governance and enterprise reporting solutions.

5. Education

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
