About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Developer with 2–3 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Shopify and WordPress, along with a good understanding of backend development, website functionality, integrations, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize websites using Shopify and WordPress.
- Customize Shopify themes, apps, functionalities, and integrations as required.
- Develop and customize WordPress websites, plugins, themes, and backend functionality.
- Handle website updates, bug fixing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other required services.
- Work with databases and ensure proper data management.
- Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ensure websites are secure, responsive, scalable, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, and other team members to implement website requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-documented code.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify, WordPress, and web development technologies.

Required Skills





- 2–3 years of professional experience in web/backend development.
- Robust hands-on experience with Shopify and WordPress.
- Good knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and custom development.
- Experience with Shopify Liquid, theme customization, and Shopify integrations.
- Knowledge of APIs and third-party integrations.
- Good understanding of website performance, security, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Git/version control is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on e-commerce websites.
- Knowledge of Shopify apps and WordPress/WooCommerce.
- Experience with payment gateway and API integrations.
- Understanding of basic SEO and website optimization.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
