JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNTANT

Position: Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, handle invoices and payments, and support payroll and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and verify sales and purchase invoices.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain cash book, bank book and ledger accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.
- Record receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain GST-related records and documentation.
- Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding payments and outstanding amounts.
- Verify bills, vouchers and supporting documents.
- Assist in salary, PF, ESIC and PT-related payroll calculations when required.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Prepare outstanding, expense and other routine MIS reports.




- Support monthly closing and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with HR, Purchase, Stores and Management for financial documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Tally Prime / accounting software.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS and basic statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Robust attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential financial information.

Educational Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a manufacturing / engineering company will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,500.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
