ICT Teacher – IB/IGCSE

About the Role

Seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and committed ICT Teacher to join the academic team of a premier international school in Thane. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IB/ IGCSE ICT curriculum and a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the IGCSE Board.

The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, practical, and concept-driven ICT lessons

that develop learners' digital literacy, problem-solving abilities, computational thinking, and

confidence in using technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Learning

● Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and

assessment objectives.

● Develop learners' understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical ICT skills.

● Use a variety of teaching strategies, digital tools, practical activities, and real-world

applications to enhance learning.

● Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.

● Encourage learners to apply ICT concepts to authentic,



real-world situations.

2. IGCSE Curriculum & Assessment

● Demonstrate a strong understanding of the ICT syllabus, curriculum framework, and

assessment requirements.

● Prepare learners effectively for IB/IGCSE examinations and practical assessments.

● Design and conduct regular formative and summative assessments.

● Analyse learner performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.

● Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessment, and attainment.

● Support learners in developing effective examination and practical assessment strategies.

Desired Qualifications

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, ICT,

Computer Applications, or a related field.

● Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with the IB/IGCSE Board.

● Strong practical knowledge of commonly used ICT applications and digital tools.

● Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

● Solid planning, organisation, and documentation skills.

● Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school academic team.

● A learner-centred and technology-integrated approach to teaching.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
