Job Description – Draughtsman (FRP/Composite Manufacturing)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Draughtsman with experience in FRP (Fibre-Reinforced Plastic) and composite manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models of FRP/composite components and assemblies.
- Develop detailed engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing drawings.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design requirements.
- Work closely with the Design, Production, Quality, and Project teams.
- Revise drawings as per engineering changes and customer requirements.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, proper tolerances, and adherence to design standards.




- Prepare and maintain drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation wherever required.
- Support production teams in resolving drawing-related issues during manufacturing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering/Draughtsmanship; relevant qualifications preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably FRP, GRP, fiberglass, or composite manufacturing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or any other 3D modelling software will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good understanding of fabrication, assembly, dimensions, and tolerances.

Experience

1–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or engineering workplace, preferably in FRP/composites.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
