Role Description This is a full-time, in office Accountant role based in Nirmali. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and preparation of vouchers and invoices. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial reports, monitoring budgets,



tracking project expenditures, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements. The role involves handling bank reconciliations, maintaining records for audits, supporting grant and donor reporting, and coordinating with program teams to ensure accurate documentation of field expenses. The Accountant will also contribute to improving financial systems, maintaining transparency, and supporting the organization’s mission through reliable financial management.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, with the ability to manage ledgers, trial balances, and monthly/annual accounts.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally or similar), MS Excel, and basic MS Office tools for data entry, analysis, and documentation.
