Role Description The Accounts and Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. The manager will prepare and review financial statements, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor cash flow, and support audits and statutory compliance. The role includes implementing and maintaining internal controls, analyzing financial performance, providing reports and insights to leadership, and coordinating with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies. The Accounts and Finance Manager will also guide junior finance staff, help optimize financial processes, and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.




• Proficiency in accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools used for analysis and reporting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
• Ability to analyze financial data, prepare clear reports, and provide actionable insights to management.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
• Prior experience in an accounts or finance leadership role, preferably within a services or consulting environment.
• Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; skilled certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
