We create videos for our YouTube channels and social media pages, covering technology, business, company stories and industry developments. About the Role

We are looking for a Video Editor who can turn scripts, voiceovers and raw footage into engaging long-form YouTube videos, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. You should know how to explain a topic through clear visuals, build interest and keep the story moving.

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Documentary Video Editor with 4+ years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling, high-retention, mid-to-longform documentary videos (10 to 15 minutes) or short videos centred around the business and technology niches.

- Salary: ₹35,000–₹45,000 per month, depending on experience, portfolio and editing skills

- Schedule: 6 working days per week

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Editing: Take raw footage, scripts, and voiceovers, and transform them into engaging 10–15 minutes documentary-style videos or shorts.
- Niche Storytelling: Infuse visual flair, pacing, and emotional resonance suited for complex business, startup, and technology stories.
- Motion Graphics & Animation: Create fluid motion graphics, lower thirds, callouts, map animations, and data visualizations using After Effects or similar tools to simplify complex concepts.




- Sound Design & Grading: Perform basic colour grading and meticulous sound design, including audio cleanup, background music selection, and sound effects mixing.
- Pacing & Retention: Structure edits specifically to maximize audience engagement and retention across the entire 12–15 minutes runtime.
- Collaboration: Work closely with researchers, writers, and creative directors to ensure factual accuracy and narrative alignment.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 4+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally with a robust portfolio featuring long-form documentaries, video essays, or deep-dive content.

Niche Expertise: Demonstrated interest or prior work experience editing in the business, finance or technology sectors.

Software Proficiency: Expert-level command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent professional software).

Portfolio: A mandatory portfolio showcasing long-form storytelling, dynamic pacing, and motion graphics skills.
