Role Description The Lending Officer role at Paytm is a full-time, in office position based in Mohali/Kharar/Dera Bassi. The role involves assessing loan applications, performing credit evaluations, and supporting underwriting decisions in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Lending Officer will manage loan origination processes, verify documentation, and ensure timely disbursal while maintaining accuracy and compliance. This role will also include regular customer interactions to explain loan products,



address queries, and provide a positive borrowing experience. Collaboration with internal teams to optimize lending workflows and meet portfolio performance targets is a key part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
Minimum 12th Standard passout.
• Demonstrated experience in loan officer or lending roles, with a solid understanding of consumer or small business lending workflows.
• Strong foundation in finance and credit analysis, including the ability to interpret financial statements and evaluate risk.
• Hands-on experience with underwriting processes, risk assessment, and adherence to lending policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Proficiency in loan origination activities, from application intake and documentation review to approval and disbursal.
