- Receive, clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, pack, sterilize, and dispatch surgical instruments and medical devices as per CSSD protocols.
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ETO/plasma sterilizers, and washer-disinfectors, as applicable.
- Follow established infection prevention and control practices during all CSSD activities.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, damage, and completeness before packing and sterilization.
- Prepare and label instrument sets, trays, packs, and sterile supplies accurately.
- Monitor and document physical, chemical, and biological indicators for sterilization cycles and report any abnormalities.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, load details, biological indicators, equipment checks, and traceability.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of sterile items while maintaining sterility.
- Coordinate with OT, Nursing, and other clinical departments for timely supply and collection of sterile and contaminated items.




- Maintain CSSD equipment, work areas, and inventory in accordance with hospital standards, NABH requirements, and infection-control guidelines.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, expired, or improperly sterilized instruments/supplies to the concerned supervisor.
- Follow proper PPE, biomedical waste management, occupational safety, and emergency procedures at all times.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
