Job Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) systems as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor pumps, blowers, motors, valves, and other plant equipment.
- Check water quality parameters such as pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), and other basic operational parameters.
- Monitor treatment processes, including aeration, settling, filtration, and sludge handling.
- Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance of plant equipment.
- Maintain daily operation logs, readings, and maintenance records.
- Ensure proper operation of the plant and maintain treated water quality as per prescribed standards.
- Identify operational issues, equipment failures, and abnormalities and report them to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping within the plant premises.
- Follow safety procedures while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
- Coordinate with supervisors and the maintenance team to ensure smooth plant operations.





Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of STP operation and wastewater treatment processes.
- Ability to operate pumps, blowers, and related equipment.
- Basic understanding of water quality testing and plant monitoring.
- Willingness to work at project sites and in rotational shifts, if required.
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.
