KAAVIQUE LLP is a growing 3D animation production house focused on bringing creative ideas and visual stories to life. We aim to build engaging animated worlds through strong visual composition, cinematic storytelling, and production-ready artistry.

We are looking for passionate and detail-oriented Junior and Mid-Level Layout Artists who can translate storyboards and creative concepts into visually compelling scene layouts for animation production.

Key Responsibilities

- Create clear, production-ready 3D layouts based on storyboards, animatics, and creative briefs.
- Establish camera angles, framing, composition, perspective, and scene staging to support visual storytelling.
- Set up environments, characters, props, and camera movements according to shot requirements.
- Maintain continuity between shots, ensuring consistency in screen direction, spatial relationships, and visual flow.
- Collaborate with animation, modeling, lighting, and other production teams to meet project requirements.
- Interpret storyboards and director's notes to achieve the intended mood, action, and storytelling objectives.
- Revise layouts based on feedback and ensure shots meet production quality standards.
- Follow established animation pipelines, naming conventions, file management practices, and production deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong understanding of composition, camera staging, perspective, and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of 3D animation production workflows and shot production requirements.
- Ability to create clean, organized, and production-ready layouts.
- Familiarity with 3D software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender,



or equivalent tools.
- Understanding of camera lenses, focal length, depth, framing, and cinematic principles.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a genuine passion for animation and filmmaking.

Role-Specific Expectations

Junior Layout Artist

- Basic understanding of 3D space, camera placement, composition, and scene organization.
- Ability to execute layouts under the guidance of senior artists or supervisors.
- Willingness to learn production workflows and incorporate feedback.
- A relevant portfolio, showreel, or layout test demonstrating foundational skills.

Mid-Level Layout Artist

- Ability to independently execute shots and sequences with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of cinematic camera work, staging, continuity, and storytelling.
- Experience handling layout revisions and resolving shot-related issues.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with other departments and maintain production standards.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant layout work.

Preferred Experience

- Junior: Freshers with strong foundational skills may apply; relevant project or internship experience is an advantage.
- Mid-Level: Prior experience in a 3D animation production setting is preferred, with proficiency demonstrated through a relevant portfolio or showreel.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
