PlantsShip is a growing landscaping and horticulture company working across landscape development, irrigation, nursery operations, plant supply, exports, and project maintenance.

We are looking for an experienced HR Consultant to build and strengthen our complete HR function as we scale.

Role Overview

This is not just a recruitment role.

The selected consultant will work closely with the Management and department heads to establish a professional HR system covering recruitment, HR operations, policies, performance management, employee development, compliance, and HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

* Develop manpower plans based on business requirements.

* Prepare JDs and recruitment plans for key positions.

* Source, screen and coordinate candidates.

* Establish a structured recruitment and interview process.

* Build a talent pipeline for critical positions.

HR Policies & Operations

* Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs.

* Establish onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.

* Develop attendance, leave, travel, conduct and disciplinary policies.

* Maintain employee records and HR documentation.

* Establish proper HR MIS and reporting.

Organization & Performance Management

* Review and develop the organization structure.

* Define roles, responsibilities, KRAs and KPIs.

* Establish performance appraisal and review systems.

* Develop incentive, promotion and employee-development frameworks.

* Identify manpower gaps and future HR requirements.

Employee Development & Culture

* Develop employee engagement initiatives.

* Establish training and development programs.

* Improve employee retention and workplace culture.





* Establish employee grievance and feedback mechanisms.

HR Compliance & Systems

* Review HR statutory and compliance requirements.

* Establish appropriate HR documentation and processes.

* Recommend and implement HR technology and automation.

* Develop dashboards and regular HR reports for Management.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an HR professional / consultant who:

* Has 8+ years of HR experience.

* Has strong experience in HR consulting and HR operations.

* Has hands-on recruitment and talent acquisition experience.

* Has experience creating HR policies and systems.

* Understands KRA/KPI and performance management.

* Can independently build HR systems from the ground up.

* Is comfortable working directly with founders and senior management.

* Has a practical, implementation-oriented approach.

Industry experience preferred: Construction, Infrastructure, Landscaping, Horticulture, Agriculture, EPC, Real Estate, Facility Management or other project-based organizations.
