- Basic knowledge of Statistics and/or Econometrics
- Familiarity with optimization, mathematical modelling, simulation or operations research is an advantage
- Knowledge of Python, R, Excel, MATLAB or similar analytical tools is desirable




- Academic writing and referencing skills
- Ability to work independently and systematically on a research problem

1. Literature review and systematic identification of research gaps
2. Research problem formulation
3. Development of conceptual/research frameworks
4. Data collection and analysis where applicable
