Role Description The Hoodie Design Intern role at Yuzi is an internship position, structured for NIFT candidates, and offered as a remote opportunity. The intern will support the design team in conceptualizing and developing hoodie designs aligned with Yuzi's aesthetic, including creating mood boards, design sketches, and digital mockups. Day-to-day tasks include conducting visual and market research, experimenting with graphic placements and typography, and translating ideas into detailed technical layouts. The intern will collaborate with designers to refine silhouettes, fabric choices, and trims,



and prepare design files suitable for production. The role also involves organizing design assets, maintaining consistency with brand guidelines, and contributing fresh, culture-led concepts to ongoing collections.
Qualifications

- Solid visual design foundation, including Graphic Design and Graphics skills relevant to fashion and apparel.
- Ability to conduct structured Research on fashion trends, streetwear culture, and materials, and apply insights to design concepts.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools commonly used in fashion design and garment development.
- Understanding of design principles that may extend from Architecture, such as form, structure, and spatial thinking, and their application to apparel design.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from NIFT or an equivalent fashion design program.
- Knowledge of garment construction basics, fabric types, and print/embellishment techniques for hoodies.
- Comfort working remotely, managing time effectively, and collaborating via digital tools and communication platforms.
- Portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, attention to detail, and an interest in contemporary, culture-led streetwear.
