Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, India. This role is responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with merchants and partners, and promoting GootPay’s digital payment solutions. Day-to-day activities include visiting clients, conducting product presentations and demos, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring effective onboarding and ongoing support for customers.



The Area Sales Manager will also monitor market trends and competitor activities, prepare sales forecasts and reports, and collaborate with internal teams to improve product offerings and customer experience.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in field sales, business development, or account management, ideally in fintech, digital payments, or financial services.
• Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, and customer service to manage merchants, partners, and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical products in clear, practical terms.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with robust time management and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferre
