Integrations Engineer

Overview: We're hiring an Integrations Engineer to join our Integrations team. The primary focus of this role is supporting our web integrations, with a secondary focus on supporting the buildout of our mobile SDK. This role is well-suited to a mid-career engineer (3.5 to 5 years) who brings solid hands-on development skills across web and mobile platforms, solid problem-solving ability, and the communication skills needed to work directly with internal and external stakeholders.

Must Have - Core Requirements
• Strong Technical Background in Integrations & External Data Systems – Experience creating and maintaining integrations with third-party APIs, data lakes, and data warehouses. Understanding of user identity and data storage concepts within web and mobile environments (cookies, local storage, IDFA, etc.).
• Code Proficiency for Integration Work – Production-ready TypeScript/JavaScript for client-side implementations, Lua/YAML playbook and kit authoring,



solid HTTP/API mechanics (GET/POST/PUT, authentication, headers, idempotency, batching, pagination, retries), and comfort with CLI-based configuration and deployment.
• Client-Side Development & Configuration Skills – Ability to write production-ready TypeScript/JavaScript code for client-side implementations (e.g., tag management, event tracking, data layer interactions) and configure integrations using YAML, JSON, or similar declarative formats. Must be comfortable debugging client-side code using browser developer tools and understanding the data flow from collection to destination.
• API & Integration Troubleshooting – Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, request/response payloads, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys, JWT), error handling, rate limits, and systematic troubleshooting of integration and data-flow issues. Experience using tools such as Postman, cURL, or similar API debugging tools is
