Job Description We are seeking an Accountant will provide hands-on accounting support across multiple healthcare entities, assisting with journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and audit preparation. This role will be heavily involved in tactical accounting work, including support for grant accounting, lease accounting reconciliations, process improvement efforts, and other high-priority initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency within the accounting organization. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Journal entry experience
- Account reconciliation experience
- Month-end close support
- Financial reporting support
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication skills
Ability to work 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST
- Healthcare accounting experience
- Public accounting background
- Grants accounting experience
- Lease accounting experience
- Multi-entity accounting environment
- PeopleSoft or other ERP experience




- Process improvement or automation experience
- Research accounting exposure
