We are looking for an experienced Payment Collection Team Lead to manage the collections team, monitor outstanding payments, improve recovery rates, and ensure timely collection of dues from customers. The candidate will be responsible for team performance, overdue payment follow-ups, receivables management, reporting, and escalation handling.
Key Responsibilities• Lead, manage, and monitor the payment collection team to achieve monthly collection targets.
• Track outstanding payments, overdue invoices, and pending receivables.
• Allocate customer accounts and collection targets among team members.
• Ensure timely follow-ups with customers through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and field visits wherever required.
• Monitor ageing reports and prioritize high-value and long-pending dues.
• Develop collection strategies to improve recovery rates and reduce overdue payments.
• Handle escalated cases, payment disputes, delayed payments, and customer concerns.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Accounts, and Operations teams to resolve payment-related issues.




• Maintain accurate records of collection activities, payment commitments, and recovery status.
• Monitor daily collection performance and conduct regular reviews with team members.
• Ensure promised payment dates are tracked and followed up without delays.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on collections, overdue amounts, recovery rates, and team performance.
• Identify reasons for payment delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure professional customer communication and adherence to company policies.
• Support reconciliation of customer accounts and resolution of discrepancies.

Required Skills• Strong experience in payment collections, accounts receivable, or debt recovery.
• Proven experience in team handling and target achievement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
