JOB SUMMARY

(Brief about the existence of the position)

Job Incumbent should have 5-6 years of experience in Purchase and should have minimum 2 years of Experience from steel / fabrication / PEB industry.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

(Primary duties)

• Sourcing of Civil Project related requirements, CAPEX items / O&M; Items and Services.

• Good Knowledge of Vendor Sourcing Practices (Researching, Evaluating, & Liaising with Suppliers.

• Understanding of Supply chain Procedures with valuable analytical Skills.

• Sending RFQ & Coordinating for Getting offers, making Comparison & Evaluate offers Technically & Commercially.

• Negotiate Contract terms of agreement & Pricing.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

(Apart from regular activities )

• Inter & Intra Departmental Coordination for Technical clearance for the items being handled.

• PO creation in SAP

• Knowledge of SAP, Excel is Must

• Ensure the timely receipt of material from Supplier

• Ability to handle queries raised from internal & external customers.
