Role Description This is a full time remote role for a Senior Consultant at Taxcart. The Senior Consultant will work closely with clients to understand their business models, system architecture, and tax compliance needs, translating these into practical implementation plans for the Taxcart platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading discovery sessions, analyzing requirements, configuring solutions, and guiding clients through integration, testing, and go-live.
The role also involves advising on global indirect tax considerations, preparing clear documentation, and collaborating with product, engineering, and support teams to resolve complex issues. The Senior Consultant will mentor junior team members, contribute to best practices, and help refine consulting methodologies as Taxcart expands to new markets.
Qualifications
• Strong consulting skills, including stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Experience with SaaS or cloud-based platforms, system integrations (APIs, ERPs, eCommerce), and technical troubleshooting.
• Background in indirect tax (sales tax, VAT, GST) or tax technology, with the ability to interpret and apply tax rules to business scenarios.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort working with data, workflows, and process maps.
