Nextyn is a Human Led, AI Powered expert network and primary research firm headquartered in Mumbai, with offices in Bangalore, Jakarta and Singapore. We serve private equity funds, corporates and consulting firms across North America, Europe and the GCC. We operate four business lines: Expert Network, Research and Consulting, Marquee Global and Transcript IQ, supported by our proprietary platforms Nextyn IQ and Transcript IQ. As we scale into new markets and new AI led products, our people engine has to scale faster than the business.
About the Role
The Head of People and Strategy will own how Nextyn hires, measures, develops and retains talent, from frontline analysts to the leadership team. This is a builder role for someone who sets a high bar, moves fast and holds people, including senior leaders, accountable to it.
Key responsibilities
The role spans six areas. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following.
Talent acquisition
• Lead and scale the Talent Acquisition team, setting weekly hiring targets,
funnel metrics and recruiter productivity benchmarks.
• Build a predictable hiring engine for analyst, research, sales and client service roles across all four business lines.
• Own sourcing strategy across campuses, referrals, job platforms and direct headhunting, with a robust Tier 1 campus pipeline.
• Design structured interviews, assessments and case exercises that raise the quality of every hire.
• Track and cut time to hire, cost per hire, offer acceptance and early attrition.
Leadership hiring
• Personally run searches for AVP, VP, Director and CXO level roles, including new market and new product leaders.
• Map talent in competing expert networks, consulting firms and research houses and build a standing bench of leadership candidates.
• Manage executive search partners and hold them to timelines and quality.
• Own leadership onboarding so senior hires are productive within 90 days.
