Job Summary

SOBHA Interiors is looking for a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with experience in modular furniture, joinery, wardrobes, modular kitchens, and interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, material quantities, and production-related estimates using relevant interior design and estimation software.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material quantity calculations for interior and furniture projects.
- Review interior drawings, furniture layouts, joinery drawings, and technical specifications.
- Calculate material, hardware, labour, manufacturing, and installation costs.
- Prepare estimates for modular kitchens, wardrobes, cabinets, TV units, and customized furniture.
- Use software such as Infurnia, Cabinet Vision, imos, NADI, or similar tools for estimation and design-related calculations.
- Prepare material lists, BOMs, cut lists, and production requirements wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and project teams.




- Obtain and compare vendor quotations for materials, hardware, and accessories.
- Maintain estimation sheets, costing databases, and project documentation.
- Ensure accuracy in quantities, pricing, and cost calculations while meeting project deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 25 years of relevant experience in interior estimation, modular furniture, joinery, or furniture manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following software tools:
- Infurnia
- Cabinet Vision
- imos
- NADI
- Similar furniture design, manufacturing, or estimation software

- Good knowledge of modular kitchens, wardrobes, cabinets, furniture materials, hardware, and finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ, BOM, quantity take-off, costing, and MS Excel.
- Robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and coordination abilities.
