Role & responsibilities

- Perform welding activities using ARC/MMA, MIG, TIG, or other welding processes as required.
- Carry out fabrication, fitting, cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembly of metal components.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings, measurements, and fabrication sketches.
- Perform installation, alignment, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment, structures, pipelines, supports, and brackets.
- Handle welding machines, gas-cutting equipment, grinders, drilling machines, and other workshop tools safely.
- Inspect welded joints and fabricated components to ensure proper fit, finish, and quality.
- Assist in breakdown maintenance, modification, and erection activities at plant sites.
- Follow work permits, PPE requirements, hot-work procedures, and all applicable safety guidelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in positive working condition and keep the work area clean.




- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other maintenance personnel to complete work within the required timeline.

Preferred candidate profile

- ITI in Welder/Fitter or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in welding, fitting, fabrication, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Practical knowledge of welding machines, fabrication tools, and fitting activities.
- Ability to work at industrial plant sites and perform hands-on maintenance activities.
- Willingness to work overtime or shifts when required by site operations.
- Candidates with experience in industrial plants, engineering services, fabrication, or maintenance projects will be preferred.
