Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sr. Executive - Product Development to support the Recent Product

Development (NPD) function for luggage products. The candidate will work closely with the Product Development

Manager and cross-functional teams to execute product development activities from concept through to mass

production, ensuring adherence to Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Support end-to-end product development (NPD) activities from concept to mass production.
- Assist in product design development, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
- Prepare and maintain project timelines, trackers, and documentation.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Manufacturing, Tooling, Quality, and Supply Chain teams for smooth execution.
- Track adherence to QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) parameters for assigned projects.
- Follow up on samples, prototypes, and tooling development with vendors/OEMs.
- Support resolution of day-to-day issues arising during development and provide inputs for corrective actions.




- Assist in preparing reports and updates for management review.
- Support smooth handover of developed products to production.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in NPD processes.

Requirements

- 3-6 years of experience in product design & development
- Prior experience supporting or coordinating NPD projects.
- Working knowledge of NPD processes.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to OEM interactions preferred.

Skills & Competencies

- Good coordination and follow-up skills
- Effective communication skills
- Basic understanding of product development & manufacturing
- Awareness of QCD parameters
- Analytical and problem-solving orientation

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the luggage industry
- Mechanical Engineering / Product Design background
- Basic knowledge of plastic manufacturing
- Working knowledge of CAD tools (CREO)
