Role & responsibilities

- Plan and execute day-to-day construction activities as per the project schedule.

- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Planning Engineers, and other departments.

- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.

- Identify delays and implement corrective actions.

- Supervise civil construction activities, including excavation, concreting, masonry, reinforcement, and structural works.

- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.

- Monitor manpower, machinery, materials, and equipment utilization.

- Review construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, and work orders.

- Coordinate with design and engineering teams for drawing clarifications.

- Maintain technical records and report deviations for necessary approval

- Ensure construction work complies with approved quality standards.

- Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team for inspections and testing.

- Plan manpower requirements based on project activities.

- Coordinate material procurement, delivery, and availability at the site.

- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.

- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain workflow.

- Monitor project expenditure against the approved budget.

- Support quantity measurement, BOQ verification, and billing activities.





- Identify cost variations and report them to the Project Manager.

- Assist in controlling material wastage and improving resource utilization.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

- Track planned versus actual progress and identify critical delays.

- Maintain site records, measurement sheets, and work completion reports.

- Report project issues, resource requirements, and progress updates to management.

Client and Subcontractor Coordination

- Maintain approved drawings, site instructions, inspection reports, and project records.

- Assist in preparing running account (RA) bills and measurement records.

- Ensure project documentation is submitted within the required timelines.

Preferred candidate profile

Relevant experience in civil construction and project execution.

- Knowledge of construction drawings, BOQs, estimation, and quantity measurements.

- Understanding of quality control, safety procedures, and construction methods.

- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage site activities.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project planning tools, as required.

- Solid communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
