We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to manage and supervise electrical installation and site execution activities. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with site teams, monitoring project progress, ensuring quality and safety standards, managing material requirements, and completing assigned work within project timelines.

The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of electrical contracting, site execution, electrical drawings, BOQs, and coordination with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day electrical site execution, including panels, HT/LT cables, cable trays, bus ducts, lighting, earthing, transformers, DG sets, and UPS systems, as applicable.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Prepare daily and weekly work plans in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Monitor site progress, manpower productivity, work quality, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with supervisors, electricians, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and civil/MEP teams.
- Prepare material requisitions and coordinate with the Purchase Team for timely material availability.
- Maintain material receipt records, stock statements, consumption details, and delivery challans.
- Record site measurements, prepare measurement sheets,



and support RA billing and extra-work documentation.
- Identify drawing discrepancies, site issues, and execution challenges and report them to the Project Manager.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and site safety procedures.
- Prepare daily progress reports, including completed work, manpower details, material requirements, and site issues.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and project handover documentation.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawing inputs and maintaining project records.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in electrical contracting or construction projects.
- Experience in commercial buildings, malls, hotels, industrial projects, or data centres will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation, HT/LT systems, and site execution.
- Ability to understand electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of quantity measurement, material management, RA billing, and site documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, and team supervision skills.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
