Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and motivated MS General Surgeon to join our Surgical Oncology Department. The candidate will assist in the evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management of patients with cancer and other surgical conditions under the guidance of senior consultants, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate patients with surgical and oncological conditions and assist in developing appropriate treatment plans.
- Assist senior consultants in performing oncological and general surgical procedures.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative patient management.
- Monitor patients' clinical progress, recovery, and post-surgical complications.
- Participate in ward rounds, OPD consultations, and inpatient care.
- Coordinate with medical oncology, radiation oncology, anaesthesia, pathology, and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate patient records,



clinical documentation, and discharge summaries.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital quality standards.
- Participate in clinical discussions, case presentations, and departmental academic activities.

Educational Qualification

- MS in General Surgery from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or respective State Medical Council.

Experience

- 0–3 years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Candidates with exposure to surgical oncology or cancer care will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong clinical assessment and surgical assisting skills.
- Knowledge of general surgical procedures and post-operative care.
- Positive communication, teamwork, and patient-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
