Role & responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end field service operations, maintenance, commissioning, and technical support for underground mining and tunneling equipment, with specific experience in Longwall Machines and Longwall Mining Systems.
- Manage installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of longwall equipment.
- Handle service contracts, customer relationships, service revenue growth, and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards, mine safety regulations, SOPs, and contractual obligations.
- Manage service teams, technicians, training, and competency development at mining sites.
- Coordinate with Sales, Technical Support, Planning, Engineering,



and customer teams to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Monitor equipment availability, MTTR, MTBF, service KPIs, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage spare parts inventory, resource allocation, budgets, and operational planning.
- Drive equipment performance improvement, asset optimization, and remote monitoring initiatives.
- Develop service business opportunities, including equipment rental, refurbishment, and lifecycle service support.

Preferred candidate profile

Hands-on experience with Longwall Machines and Longwall Mining Systems is mandatory.
