We are hiring a Financial Analyst on behalf of our client. This is a remote role, so you can work from anywhere. You will analyze financial data, build models, and prepare reports that help the business make smart financial decisions. It's a great fit for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup.

Role & responsibilities

- Analyze financial data, trends, and business performance to provide actionable insights
- Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and planning
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and MIS
- Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget) and explain key drivers
- Support budgeting and forecasting (FP&A;) cycles
- Perform valuation and investment analysis (DCF, ROI, NPV, IRR) as required
- Review financial statements and track key financial KPIs
- Create dashboards and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams through online tools




- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 0 to 1 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A;, or related role (internships count)
- Robust understanding of financial statements, ratios, and accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling) and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable with video meetings and online collaboration tools
- Stable internet connection and own laptop
