Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage breakdown maintenance activities in hot rolling mills to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Implement predictive maintenance strategies using HSM (Hot Rolling Mill Schedule) to reduce equipment failures.
- Coordinate with mechanics and technicians for effective execution of preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Analyze data from RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements :
- 6-17 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field, preferably in the iron & steel industry.
- Robust knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and equipment used in hot rolling mills.
- Proficiency in breakdown maintenance, predictive maintenance, preventative measures, prevention, preventive maintenance, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and HSM (Hot Rolling Mill Schedule).
