Responsible for supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medicines as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
Responsibilities
- Reviews prescriptions for completeness and refers discrepancies or medication-related queries to the senior pharmacist or prescribing doctor.
- Provides patients with transparent instructions on medicine use as prescribed.
- Maintains medicine stock, monitors expiry dates and ensures appropriate storage conditions.
- Supports accurate billing, stock updates, inventory reconciliation and pharmacy documentation.
- Follows medication-safety practices and hospital pharmacy policies.
- Requires attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills, and a willingness to work in rotational shifts.
