Job Summary

Experience: 7 to 9 years. We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with robust expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, and hands on experience building scalable, serverless backend systems on AWS. The role involves designing and developing reliable APIs and distributed backend services.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs (GraphQL experience is a plus).
- Develop serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Work with AWS DynamoDB, S3, and CloudWatch for data storage, monitoring, and logging.
- Design and implement distributed, scalable backend architectures.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of services.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including frontend, QA, and DevOps.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision.
- Hands on experience with AWS services, including: Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB S3 CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of REST API development.




- Experience with distributed systems, serverless architectures, or microservices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab or Jenkins.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Good to Have: Experience with GraphQL.
- Experience in the financial domain or understanding of investment banking workflows.
