ob Description AM - IT Audit (Assurance)

About the Role

The IT Auditor Assistant Manager plays a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls, identifying risks, and strengthening

governance frameworks within Assurance engagements.

You will work closely with clients to assess IT systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and business processes, delivering

meaningful insights that drive stronger compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end IT audit engagements – from planning to execution and reporting
- Assess IT risks, controls, and compliance frameworks across systems and infrastructure
- Perform ITGC, ITAC, and cybersecurity reviews aligned with audit standards
- Leverage data analytics tools (IDEA, ACL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) for deeper insights
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT controls with business objectives
- Translate findings into actionable recommendations for process improvements
- Coach and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency




- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong structure and prioritization
- Support business development initiatives, proposals, and innovation efforts
- Drive continuous improvement in audit methodologies and delivery quality

Qualifications & Experience

- CA / B.Tech
- 3-4 years of relevant IT Audit / Assurance experience
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Experience in IT controls, risk assessment, and audit execution

Preferred

- CISA / DISA certification
- Experience with data analytics tools (IDEA, ACL, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, SAS)
- Knowledge of:
- SAP systems
- Operating systems (Linux, etc.)
- Databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, ISO, SOX
