We are looking for an experienced Workday Finance (FI) Tester with 5+ years of experience in functional testing of Workday Financial Management modules. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of finance business processes, test case design, execution, defect management, and end-to-end testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of Workday Financial Management modules.
- Validate finance processes across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, Expenses, Procurement, and Fixed Assets.
- Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Validate financial transactions, accounting entries, journal postings, and financial reports.
- Perform testing of Workday business processes, workflows, validations, and approval hierarchies.
- Conduct integration testing between Workday Finance and third-party applications.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing,



and production validation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, developers, and finance stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, and testing documentation.
- Ensure data accuracy, financial integrity, and compliance with business requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with strong expertise in Workday Financial Management.
- Hands-on experience in Workday Finance functional testing.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Procurement, and Fixed Assets.
- Experience in test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect lifecycle management.
- Good understanding of Workday business processes, workflows, security, and financial configurations.
- Experience in integration testing, regression testing, SIT, and UAT.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
