Education Post is looking for an experienced sales consultant to drive advertising, brand partnerships, and revenue growth for our education-focused news platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and maintain relationships with academic organizations (e.g., colleges, universities), educational technology providers, and educational products/services.

- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through proactive outreach.

- Sell digital advertising, sponsored content, branded campaigns, events, and other media solutions.

- Understand client requirements and prepare customised proposals and presentations.

- Manage all aspects of the sales process; from generating leads, making pitches, negotiating, and closing deals.

- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for repeat business.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities within the education sector.

- Coordinate with editorial, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.





Requirements

- 4-5 years of sales experience (education, media, digital publishing, advertising, or edtech are preferred).

- The ability to manage business-to-business (B2B) client relationships, along with strong B2B sales experience.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to generate leads independently and convert them into business.

- Deep understanding of digital media and advertising strategies.

- Good networking skills with education-sector decision-makers.
