About Numour
Numour is a skincare brand focused on delivering quality products and a seamless customer experience. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager with a strong ownership mindset to manage end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, and dispatch across B2B and D2C channels.
We need someone who doesn't just manage daily tasks but takes complete responsibility for warehouse performance, identifies operational gaps, solves problems independently, and ensures that every order is processed accurately and dispatched on time.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Warehouse Operations
- Take complete ownership of daily warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, GRN, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of all B2B and D2C orders.
- Establish productive warehouse processes, SOPs, and productivity standards.
- Coordinate with logistics partners, internal teams, and marketplace stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Inventory Planning & Management
- Maintain accurate physical and system inventory across all SKUs.
- Monitor stock availability, ageing inventory, damaged goods, near-expiry products, and stock discrepancies.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock audits.
- Coordinate with the planning and procurement teams to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Ensure proper batch tracking, expiry monitoring, FIFO/FEFO practices, and inventory rotation wherever applicable.
- Order Processing & Dispatch
- Oversee daily order processing across Shopify, marketplaces, and B2B channels.
- Ensure orders are picked, packed, invoiced, and dispatched within defined timelines.
- Monitor pending orders, dispatch delays, cancellations, returns, and replacement shipments.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to resolve pickup failures, shipment delays,
and delivery exceptions.
- Maintain dispatch accuracy and minimise wrong, missing, or damaged products.
- B2B & D2C Operations
- Manage different fulfilment requirements for direct customers, marketplaces, distributors, and B2B partners.
- Ensure accurate order allocation, invoicing, packing, documentation, and dispatch.
- Coordinate with sales, customer support, and finance teams to resolve fulfilment and reconciliation issues.
- Support business growth by ensuring the warehouse can handle increasing order volumes without compromising service quality.
- Team & Process Management
- Manage warehouse staff, allocate daily responsibilities, and monitor productivity.
- Train team members on SOPs, inventory handling, packaging standards, and safety procedures.
- Drive process improvements to reduce operational errors, wastage, and fulfilment costs.
- Maintain warehouse hygiene, organisation, security, and compliance with applicable procedures.
- Reporting & Performance Management
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on inventory, orders processed, pending dispatches, returns, and stock discrepancies.
- Track KPIs such as order processing TAT, dispatch SLA adherence, inventory accuracy, picking/packing accuracy, and order fulfilment cost.
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records in the OMS, WMS, ERP, and inventory management systems.
Ownership Mindset: What We Expect
- Own the outcome, not just the task: Take responsibility for warehouse performance from inbound stock to final dispatch.
- Proactive problem-solving: Identify risks before they become escalations and take corrective action without waiting for instructions.
- Bias for action:
Resolve operational bottlenecks quickly while maintaining accuracy and process discipline.
- Accountability: Take responsibility for errors, investigate root causes, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
- Cost and efficiency consciousness: Reduce avoidable losses, wastage, packaging costs, and logistics inefficiencies.
- Customer-first approach: Understand that warehouse accuracy and dispatch timelines directly impact customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
- Data-driven decisions: Use reports and operational metrics to identify gaps and improve performance.
- Scale with the business: Build repeatable processes that can support higher order volumes and expansion across channels.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse, fulfilment, or e-commerce operations; D2C or FMCG experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience managing inventory, order processing, dispatch, returns, and warehouse teams.
- Understanding of B2B and D2C fulfilment operations.
- Working knowledge of OMS/WMS or inventory systems such as EasyEcom, Unicommerce, or similar platforms.
- Good command of MS Excel or Google Sheets for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Robust coordination, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Inventory accuracy and stock discrepancy reduction.
- Order processing and dispatch turnaround time.
- On-time dispatch and fulfilment SLA adherence.
- Picking, packing, and order accuracy.
- Reduction in missing, damaged, and incorrect shipments.
- Warehouse productivity and cost per order.
- Returns and replacement processing turnaround time.
- Team productivity and SOP compliance.
Who Should Apply?
Someone who is hands-on, dependable, process-oriented, and comfortable taking independent decisions. We are looking for a professional who treats the warehouse like their own business, takes pride in operational excellence, and consistently delivers measurable results.
