Role: You will mainly look after dispatch and finished goods (FG) stock, bring in new techniques, and handle factory work assigned by management.
Key responsibilities
- Dispatch operations
- Reduce dependence on manual labour by using forklifts, pallet trucks, conveyors, stackers and similar equipment.
- Suggest and help implement dispatch automation to cut labour cost and loading time.
- Ensure the right material goes to the right party, with correct quantity and documents.
- FG stock management
- Arrange FG stock properly: location-wise or rack-wise, product and batch-wise, with clear labelling.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO so older stock moves first.
- Keep the stock register or ERP updated daily. Do regular physical stock checks and report mismatches, damage or slow-moving items.
- Improvement and factory work
- Bring in new methods such as 5S, better layout and pallet or rack systems to save time, space and manpower.
- Handle other factory work assigned by management, and coordinate with production, store, accounts and the transport team.
- Report daily dispatch and stock status to management.
Requirements: 2 to 5 years of experience in warehouse, dispatch or FG stock in a manufacturing unit. Knowledge of machine-based handling, MS Excel and stock software or ERP. Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
