Role & responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the company.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, financial records, and supporting documentation.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial reports, MIS, and periodic financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, receivables, and payables.
- Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal teams on invoices, expense documentation, and payment processing.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly closing and finance-related reporting.
- Assist with statutory, audit, and tax-related documentation, and coordinate with external consultants and auditors.
- Identify discrepancies and process gaps, and support improvements in finance and accounting processes.
- Maintain the confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

EDUCATION & CANDIDATE PROFILE

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA,



or a relevant finance or accounting background.
- Relevant experience in finance and accounting operations, preferably in a growing business or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting processes, reconciliations, MIS, and financial reporting.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple finance activities and meet deadlines.
